Brunel University once again hosted the London Secondary Schools Sportshall League Final this year. World Indoor Long Jump Silver medallist Chris Tomlinson watched on as Year 7 pupils from across London gathered to find the Regional team champions.

It was most regrettable that the track programme had to be suspended under the most unusual of circumstances. The 2007/2008 Secondary School Sportshall League has begun in London through support from England Athletics, Eveque and Sportshall. 18 Leagues have registered for the Championships this season and with five semis and a Grand Final planned for the Spring term we are looking forward to a competitive winter............

Unfortunately, the Norwich Union Fun in Athletics London Regional Festival cannot be held at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre this year due to the centre's temporary closure.

Sportshall County Leagues 2007/2008

With the new Sportshall Season now in full swing across the UK many county leagues have begun their winter activities. We are keen, as in previous years, to recieve news and results from as many leagues as possible as children compete for their clubs to gain selection at our UK Championship events.
